Definately a check back OTR as played (which I didnt do lol), but thoughts up to this point? I dont like anything apart from pre btw, so dont mind being torn apart.

Dont have HEM stats but had been playing pretty aggro to this point, but with very few 3bets

if u dont have a 3betting/4betting dynamic then pre is fine, with any dynamic tho im 3/5betting getting this in.

flop i just call, keep his range wide etc. Are you calling if he shoves flop? and what range do you think he crams on this flop after you raise?

turn, as played standard ch back imo.

river, dunno why this is an 'obvious check back' after hes checked twice im pretty happy to bet/fold (don't think your gona get bluff shoved very often with his effective stack. Unsure on sizing as your stack is ugly after you raise flop, but probably something like 7180 to get called by 88-TT, 68s, A6s, A4s. Also, think your gona valuetown yourself sometimes but I think you miss value long term by not betting river

EDIT: just seen we are otb, defo 3betting pre to 5bet cram and play IP post if he peels.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

3b pre is def preferred, people spaz hard in 6 max comps. River has got to be a bet.

I was probably being really RO by saying rivers a check back. I wanted to check back but just couldnt do it, felt tez.

Bit more on villain might be useful, but I had alot more time with him after this so its hard to differentiate between what I knew and what I know now. He had played really solid, but seemed tighter than usual to say it was 6max. As I said in OP, I didnt have a preflop dynamic with villain (or anyone else for that matter). The other thing that stopped me from 3b'ing was his 3b sizings had been HUGE (3x+ every time) which puts me in cuffs against a much wider range than if he min 4bs.

Tbh, I feel like if we 3b/5b/call, we're getting it in pretty terrible shape. Id stove it but not on my Laptop atm. Id expect him to get it in this way with AQs+ TT+.

I think the mistake I made OTR is I bet too much. I decided to bet 11111, which I think it more merge than value bet. I might be wrong but it felt way too big to get a worse hand to call. As it happens he tanked for ages with AA and flicked it in, so he may have folded QQ (doubtful as its the same hand, but I dont know if hes good enough to realise this).

You should have 3 bet pre-flop.

Flop and turn was fine. As for river, the only hand you can put him on is two with a four.

Calisto22 is Melanie weisner or Spanish fish? If the former then flat pre f the latter 3b it's an 8 sorta comp fgs they not hba start folding much they opened utg. Same principle for post flop keep betting tool we are raised or an overcRd comes.  Definitely betting river, don't think it's close, opens utg I mean there's basically no in her range so only has houses,  bluffcatchers and overpairs. The overpuurrss and houses playing a little faster a decent % of the time.

3.6k games with an average stake of $5. Rated 56 on Sharkscope so assuming not her.

The straight isnt important here, as you said theres no in Villains range. Am actually more interested in preflop than anything else, as I think postflop is just compounding any mistakes we might have made preflop (if it was a mistake).

Just villains bluffcatching/2 pair range for the river stat

There's like less than 5pc chance that you can't make a mistake pre flop here and both decisions will be fine. If a fish then becomes a slamdunk 3bet if tight reg then call but eithe way in a 8 dollar game anything but folding will be completely fine and there will be different merits for each.. Ie flattog allows fish in  blinds to come along and you're in position and 3bettibg inflates the pot whilst you're in position with a monstrr

never seen anyone make more typos on his iphone/ipad than pleno. it's like your rolling your face on it and occasionally words like raise or river come out just by sheer probability.

river is a check back imo. pretty hard for him to call with worse, esp since we checked back the turn, unlikely to take a raise flop/check turn/bet river line with anything worse than JJ.

can see merits for vbetting, but just don't think he's calling with 88-TT and we lose valuable chips when he tanks and calls us with QQ+.

I think if we bet a lot smaller we can get his /over pairs we beat to call. Bombing as much as I did pretty.much turns our hand into a bluff
