Following last weeks 5 packages guaranteed fiasco at dtd ,I get this today
From one of the support team at dtd
Hi Tony ,we have on offer some rooms in Vegas for wsop for 155£ a night ,or a suite for 170£ a night ( I want to scream hello my fat arse should have ben in one ) ,if you had honoured the guarantee ,you relentessy spammed me about ,by text by e mail by blonde poker ,but I don't ?
I politely reply saying no thanks
The question I ask is , are they taking the pi55 or what ?

You'd think they could give a bit of a discount to the 4th and 5th place finishers.

£155 a night is a terrible rate. Call the poker room and you'll get $120ish a night. (a bit more at weekends prolly)

As I'm staying at the nugget for 14/15 nights for 945$ = 600£ ish = 45£ per night
A room costing 150 a night is too much out of my budget ,I only sleep n shower in it ,I have yet to get a bad room in Vegas yet, all have been plenty good enough ,ballys 3 times ,Excalibur 3 times (surprisingly good rooms here ) Luxor was prolly the worst ,obv aria n bellagio were v good plus others ,also I wander around pretty scruffy and always feel 'out of place' at night and in a 150 a night place would prolly feel even more so
