I see there's still 50+ players still in at midnight zzzzzzzz
Past my bedtime unless I go back into training.
Should be one more still in if you ask me...

I played an Ian Bell innings tonight: some delicious, textbook shots on display but back in the hutch after a long and largely fruitless period at the crease.

I don't have the tekkers of the rev. Gascoigne, Vinny.
I'd most likely be the 3am bubble-boy.
PS <edit>
But seriously would it not be better to start it at 2.15pm and then have it finish at 2am?
I thought DTD ran a poll to see if 2pm starts or 5pm starts were preferred for Saturday tourneys and the 5pm won the vast majority of the votes.

Good event last night but yeah earlier start perhaps needed as structure worked ok. Certainly would not benefit from being made quicker

Not a big fan of the earlier start time but wouldn't mind them knocking 5k off the starting stacks to shorten the comp a bit.
It'd still be 30k if you take the reload which is 75BBs at the end of the buy in period.

Would prefer earlier start on a purely selfish basis for the earlier finish. if by chance I ever FT one of these then the long drive home does not appeal even with a wedge in my sky rocket.
Matts idea of reduced starting stack would appeal. 20k starting stack is nice but so is 15.

Seemed - from the rail - to play pretty quickly from about 40 out.
Generally prefer 2/2.15 start times anyway tbh.
