Poker Team
«
on:
June 14, 2012, 02:23:27 PM »
Anybody interested in getting together during the day or evenings, to discuss poker and set up a team to play the daily grind.
It really pooling resources and poker knowledge
A lot of the most successful players are part of a group who play poker together regularly
I would like to get 4 or 5 together if this is possible
it seems to be the way to go in poker nowadays, if you want to make money and keep your sanity
p.s. by the way this has nothing to do with collution or cheating

Don't worry. It's just me being silly. (I'm wasted on here)
Why not tell us a little about yourself? Oh, and welcome to blonde.

thank you
just looking to see if there are other interested people
meet up and see can it work
not much time wasted by anyone
and maybe a business venture could be created, over time.

The Poker Hand Analysis board is really already a place where people can get together during the day or evenings to discuss poker.
The rest of your post sounds like you want to set up a collusion ring.

no collusion
just normal working together
i think it is fairly common, especially with the best players in the country
they are doing something right
and they are not colluding

Tbh with you this is only really something Id do with friends. I do do it regularly, and think it helps alot tbh.
Good idea, just think you need to keep it between you/your immediate friends as opposed to asking on an online forum

Lots of people here do it, but they would only do it with other people that they know reasonably well.
Spend a little time here, get to know the grinders, the super serious guys, the recreational ones, & you'll soon find some guys to hook up with, all things being equal.
It's a little unusual for a complete newcomer to come on & request this, hence a little reserve & caution. Nobody is going to do this with a complete stranger, for very obvious reasons.
Good luck, have a look round the entire Forum - in your case, "Poker Hand Analysis" (PHA) Board in particular, & you'll be fine.

I agree with Tikay get chatting to people and eventually you may find people that would do this sort of thing i tend to just stick to close friends and discuss over skype seems the best way!

Thanks for the feedback guys
really would like to meet an discuss in person rather than on the forums
this is not trying to cheat
its just simple real life interaction, to see if we could learn off each other
and maybe make a big success from poker
just like all the smart guys do
very few off the winners play on their own, they understand that you need a team to talk and discuss
Hope someone sees my point
kind of hoping there are players out there, who feel the same
and want to get together

No one is disagreeing with that, merely you should introduce yourself, let people get to know you over a while before anyone on here is likely to be interested.
