Just had time to read through this thread, had me in stitches, except the accommodation issues obviously (exactly the kind of thing that would happen to me!).  Best of luck to all of you out there, will no doubt bump into you somewhere.

If you've not resolved your accommodation issues, I've got a room at the Wynn available for 6 nts, 3rd to 9th July, as has Mike Hill (Da Bookie).  Will accept £350 for mine (not sure about Mike).  I've checked with the Wynn and the dates are not changeable.

Immigration was pretty terrifying. We'd been given all sorts of scare stories and advice about what you should and shouldn't say, in the end we all decided to be honest and say we were Professional Poker Players, which seemed fine and he wished us good luck for the series. Felt my palms sweating on the fingerprint scanner though!

So we're here, 40degree heat, in a ballin suite in the palazzo. Just been to "Buffalo Wild Wings", a sports bar off the strip to watch some basketball game (kind of a big deal apparently) and eat tons of quintessential american food, was very tasty.

Everyone pretty exhausted, we faded all kinds of alluring nightlife options in favour of a good night's sleep. Mitch and I playing the $3k WSOP event, think it's the biggest even I'm playing except for maybe the Wynn main event so I'm making sure I'm prepared 100%.

Regardless of how the poker goes, I can't see this trip being anything short of incredible.
