meh i'd rather play a deeper stacked mtt where you can realise your edge over avg opponents than play a $1k crapshoot where you are going to be under it if you lose one showdown albeit against inferior players. ROI's are undoubtly higher for most mtt'ers in wsop event but also the variance is absurd. I guess it comes down to your risk aversion (or backers) and how u cut your cloth. Mitch being a live cash player arguably makes it a better comp for him to play than a $1k wsop where seldomly turns and rivers get played.

Gl Mitch. Hopefully we can both win some hardware today.
Pretty annoyed with how the last two levels wants. I played one hand badly, lost one showdown from ahead then missed a huge combo draw but I can take solace from the fact that most of the day I played patiently and picked up chips in decent spots.
Just need one double and I'll be confident of a decent run. Think I'm out of make up with this score so anything from here is a bonus.
Actually fuck that- really want some gollllllllld.
