Marc,

A question if I may. Not doubting for a nano second your ability to make this a very profitable venture for you and any backers, but my question is how do you manage the big swing in buyins from a $500 tournament to a $11 turbo.

I'm assuming the standard of play must be so different with the players of thought /play/ attention to ranges and positions etc, etc from 500 to 11.

Play a table of players like me and we see hands and situs differently and no where near the level of thought you would compared to a table of players like you!

So how do you combat the variances or std of players?

Hope that makes sense!?

Yh i used to struggle when i first started mass tabling. But i have played this  schedule on a sunday for the last 3 years and have made alot of money doing it.
To answer specifically though, i think my fundamentals are very good. Like early on in MTT's, $11, or $500, im going to be playing kinda similar (generally tight).
I have extensive notes on most players at all stakes which makes most situations easy to play as i have been in the same or similar situation multiple times before.
I have played about 30k mtt's lifeitme with an average buyin of $80, so have extensive experience playing against all standard of opponent. I think my edge in mtt's is my ability to constantly adjust and read situations better than most. My ranges (3b/4b callin ranges) are as good as anyone and i have a great reputation in that no one ever folds to my 3bets so i can 3bet/call real wide for value which allows me to have big stacks in high buyin mtt's.
I have an extra montior and pull tables on to a seperate monitor as they get deeper so i can give them extra focus.

One other thing to add is that i think i can tell pretty fast if someone is an experienced online player just from things like bet sizing, bet patterns and overall style of play.
Playing 25 tables at peak time on a sunday does mean i will miss some action and potentially some good spots, BUT, it means if i lose a flip deep in an mtt, it wont tilt me anywhere near as much as it would if i was one tabling as i have so many other stacks to fall back on.

Thanks for the, didn't expect anything else other than, the indepth detailed reply.  Please don't think I was questions the stake or anything like that, just curious with my original question.

The very best of lucky....though I don't think luck comes into it!  Wink
