He said in the interview afterwards that he hasn't had to use much energy this time around, so he had plenty in the tank for a sprint finish. Interestingly, he also told at least two broadcasters that there was a team talk on the bus where the boss said "easy day today, lads", to which Cav begged for a finish. Wiggins was first to pipe up and agree, according to Cav.
