Hi Everyone, we are just back up now

Firstly, sincere apologies for the inconvenience

We were hacked, at the server root, at around 11pm UK time Sunday night

All the indications from our investigations with the server hosting company are that this was a hack designed to take the site down, rather than access data (such as PMs and email addresses), but we are investigating further

Yesterday access to the server was restored and last night all the server files were re-uploaded to once again populate site and forum with our content

However, caution is key here for all of us, so whilst others more technical than I will be able to advise better but we would certainly suggest

- changing your password to log into blonde
- changing any other logins you have that use the same/similar password to blonde eg bank, poker sites etc

Some of skypokers games were down last night, online banks are showing duplicate direct debits on some accounts and the natwest incident last week - I get the feeling there are far bigger issues with the Internet happening that is being kept from the public, anyone else noticed funny goings on?

This just reinforces the advice that is often given to never use the same password on a forum as you do for your email, facebook, or really any other site.  That way if any of your accounts are compromised your other accounts can't be accessed.
