Noticed Andrew Flaherty in the chip counts. Could this be either of the father or son team from Leeds that are good mates of Lawrence Gosney?

They are O'Flaherty but hendonmob shows no Flaherty

Hope so Jas, real nice guy but doubt he will be playing this
Yeah especially with Lawrence not being there but then again him or his son may have wOn a package

Good luck to all those guys and esp the ones that post on here.
Only players i've ever met in real life are Niall Farrell, Nick Abou Risk and James Keys. All seem like really nice guys, so, big shout for these three, but Best of Luck to ALL of the Brits still in the race to be king of the poker castle.

It's good when the Main Event throws up a player who really knows what they're doing. 3 Day 5's is a fantastic performance.

Day 5 this year had 282 from 6598 starters - about 1/24 of the starters. Someone with zero edge on the field making 3 day fives is about 1 in 13800.

So not all that unlikely from fields of 6600.

Seems more to support what The Camel said. If Cheong had no edge, he's just hit a 14,000-1 shot.

Also, the fact it has not been done very often means that it cannot be easy to do.

13,800 - 1 shots don't come in very often.

In before once in every 13799 times from Andrew.
