Murtagh applies the pressure constantly playing 4.5m v 1m v 500k

then he calls a 1m shove from Whinkless, with A-3

Up against A-J

J on the flop doubles Whinkless to 2m

Card dead ladderer Jones playing 500,000 with blinds about to go 40-80k after a short break....

Not sure on how the betting went but Murtagh must have shoved all in on the BB to an open bet from Jones on the button.

Murtagh

Jones (very short stack) had  according to the live stream again. Jones then tank folded?Huh??

looks like a certain card or maybe 2 are not registering correctly, Surely Jones couldnt pass there if that hand was correct?Huh?

Nothing to report as yet apart from Murtagh dominating the play.

Looks like Whinkless and Jones are on the same wavelength (hoping one or the other runs into Murtagh and gets eliminated) so they can ladder up yet again and claim the 2nd prize. Only one winner here!!!

Whinkless shoves and eventually we have a call, a confrontation

Yes!

Whinkless A-9

Murtagh A-10

k-k-10-q-k

karl whinkless finishes 3rd

Murtagh with 5.7m plays Jones with 400k Heads Up

Please don't take long

Heads Up is one hand

Murtagh button shoves Q-6dd

Jones, who has displayed one of the best examples of laddering I have seen for ages, finds A-A in the big blind

I manage a LOL. A bit too loud

8-2-Q-4-Q

Mat Jones finishes second

Whinkless makes up the small blind with   (can only think he is hoping for a raises from the BB, Murtagh, the chip leader so he can re-shove)

Anyway, Murtagh just checks.

Murtagh

Whinkless

Flop

Whinkless checks, Murtagh makes it 120k, Call from Whinkless

Turn

So this leave Whinkless open ended and the nut flush draw but still checks to Murtagh who claims all in and Whinkless immediately passes.

Same comp same time next week

Next blonde live update is three weekend's time, days 2 and 3 of the Supersized Grand Prix with Caroline Cove

Next month we'll do the £200 £100k GTD and the £500 £500k GTD

All three should set our collective update pulses racing

For now, after one of the quietest live updates I can remember, goodnight.
