Didn't play this last time because I was away when the Live Final took place.

Looking forward to it, even with a half average starting stack of 40K I'll have 200 big blinds so should be fun.

Hi Guys

Glad to hear everyone is looking forward to tomorrow...me too this is my favourite comp! last time I had 220 players asking me who was who online, even though I told them I couldn't tell them it was interesting hearing their reasons for wanting to know Smiley

We've left the Sit & Go's running all through the night for you late nighters, Simon says he will play for as long as they run so feel free to join him and keep him occupied Smiley

Good Luck building your last chips!

See you all tomorrow at 2pm!

Cheers Nicola

Been discussing with players at the table of ways to increase participation.

Idea of weekly MTT with ~ 20e buyin keeping the top heavy "pay outs" everyone enjoy as they seem to dislike the laborious process of the sngs although they would play in combination.

Got to get balance right though to keep the traffic in the sngs - so a weekly MTT be good.

Also a higher buyin sng 10euros be good, keeps affordable for the 'recreational players' and becomes a lot more attractive to the higher buyin players.

With these added no reason can't beat a 100k gt with ease

Thanks DtD for a great competition...hopefully will run it again in the future.

Is there anyway of finding out what the starting stacks of the Final 8 were and will the live stream be on Facebook/ You Tube?

The Live stream will be up on http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/live.php (Previous streams) in the next few days. Complete with Caroline's rather unique approach on commentary, with Rob Yong doing a spell and actionjack on the Heads Up, where he was excellent

Starting stacks for the final 8 were:

1    Will Jones    €25,000.00 47,000
2    Peter Mccann    €15,000.00 300,000
3    Mohammed Istakhar Sadiq    €10,000.00 127,500
4    Paul Jackson    €7,500.00 225,000
5    Thomas Horton    €5,600.00 62,500
6    Patrick Simcoe    €4,600.00 117,000
7    Matt Hays    €3,750.00 200,000
8    Kenneth Billups    €3,150.00 150,000

Five of the 8 had CPP Golden Chips.

Was one of the best final tables I have seen in a while. actionjack was brilliant, and the winner played great stuff.

Played this and enjoyed.

I had a small stack and was in for very little as I only started a couple of days before, but I enjoyed. If I had one suggestion, it would be to start the blinds at a smaller level. It turned into a shoving circus towards the last few levels and still little play for small/medium stacks from level 7 onwards.

Enjoyed though and hopes it runs again.
