each way terms?

20-1 e/w..he'll be top three if he wins two golds..Wiggins/Ennis/Farah. in whatever order

Murray gold plus Wimbledon final is top 3 possibility.

So would be two gold then retiring Pendleton.

A vintage year, really, if it turns out like that

I'm voting Pendleton for anything she's up for.

Farah could scrape a Gold if EVERYTHING goes right for him tactics-wise but can't see him doing the double. Two medals of any colour would be a stellar performance given the strength of opposition.

Tweddle if she nails gold on Monday?  Everyone loves gymnastics - especially the female voters.

Its a tough tough year though

A TourDeF winner and various Olympic Champs across rowing/cycling/track(hopefully) and maybe Murray depending on tomorrow too

Yeah it's really competitive so I still think having a 1/4 shot in there is pretty crazy.  A bit more food for thought on the gymnast front:

  • GB have never won a gold medal in gymnastics
  • Tweddle has won everything going except an Olympic medal (so ticks the recent "lifetime achievement" box)
  • British public generally loves gymnastics - not got stats to back that up, but would imagine TV figures are up there

Shame the bookies have got a bit tight with their e/w terms really.  I actually did her each way a few years back when she got 3rd in SPOTY before, but was a much weaker year.

Have a combination of forecasts in the 100m.Bolt/other@7/1:  Blake/other@10/1 : other/Bolt@14/1 and other/Blake@16/1.   Also had Gay @12/1 last wk though he's bigger now.

Well that's just silly. They have a market with Powell the perennial choker but not Gatlin?

With this being the first Olympics under the 'one false start and you're out' rule the world record not being broken must be a huge bet at 1.49.
