I think you're OK if you end up with 4 as the result of a 'real-life' transfer.  If you sub anyone out though, you won't be able to go back and will have to comply with the normal rules.

basically played with 9 men this week! Terry and Riise late sick notes, Pogrebniak cancelled game and Aguero crocked and Lescott was inexplicably left out.
