Interesting, I'm trying to get in the mind of BH, you came on the Liverpool thread saying wtf were we doing spunking £12m on Sturridge, but was that purely a football opinion, the above bolded bit seems to throw an element of doubt over how unbiased your opinion may have been? If it was a footballing opinion then at the moment (early days) he must be changing your mind a bit?

The EA Index has been a farce since it was introduced but it is what it is and we're all in the same boat. Personally I'd rather they did away with bonus points altogether.

but then you wouldn't get to stoof someone by 1 point after some dodgy points awardation to one of your defenders.

Sorry. I did mean hate him as a player, although I have questioned his attitude and application at some points in the past (hopefully behind him now playing at a deece club).

I watched him so many times for Chelsea and when he got the ball he shot about 60% of the time from hopeless positions and gave the ball away the other 40%.

But he has always shown glimpses and he has just the right players around him (Stevie, Suarez etc) and manager behind him (someone who gives the players long runs of 90 minute football when fit) to help him develop the potential he clearly has. Obv it helps massively that he is playing central, something which he certainly wasn't given the oppourtunity to do at Chelsea. So yeah, I guess he is starting to change my mind and I kind of hope he does as I like Liverpool and love Suarez.

There was many question marks about the lads attitude and application alright, it has been exemplary so far though!

He's talking up Liverpool constantly, that goes down well with the fans, he seems to be reveling in the fact he's been treated as one of the main men at the club.

Also, I had him down as a flashy,blingy basically thick type, I didn't know he was a bible basher! He actually seems down to earth.

With regards his play, he has been getting his head up and picking passes, even sprayed a few lovely cross field balls against City, good pace, hammer of a shot! Holds it up nicely

Started brilliantly, I just hope he won't get lazy once he has got his feet under the table and doesn't feel like a newbie anymore.
