Funny story.
Was playing to DTD deepstack yesterday.
30k starting
30min clock.
Second level blinds are 100-200.

I open hijack with  to 525
Button calls (oldish guy but solid good player)
Small blind fold
Big blind calls(young gun. Thinks he's the man lol)

Flop 

Blind checks
I check
Button checks

Turn 

Blind checks
I bet 1400
Button calls 1400
Blinds raises to 4000......

I call
Button folds(claims to off folded a king)

River 

So board reads

K J 7 , 7 , 9

And he instant bets 8500.

I call and he announces your good!!!!
I ask to see as iv called him and he shows
  lololol

I turn over a scoop the pot.

I then go for a well deserved smoke and as I'm walking to the table I can here him talking about it
Saying
"I wouldn't of called if the 9 hadn't of come on the river"
And that I was a complete fish.
So I had to explain to him that the 9 didn't matter and a king was still beating me it's just that I know
He had F**k all. He then started raising his voice saying If I keep playing like this I'll loose all my money etc

At this point I had enough so I said quietly to him infront of the table that "the only reason I had called is because
You did that thing you usually does when bluffing" lol

At this he stood up and actually said to me shall we go outside to sort it out!!!

I think the dealer or floor should of been called at this point but wasnt.
Surely he should of got a penalty?

The whole point is the fact that he was a MASSIVE chip leader and I wanted to tilt him up.
Wanted him to be in every pot I was in

I had a similar thing in the Grand Prix last week, albeit alot less aggressive.

I peeled vs a guy pre with   after I iso a limper and he 3bs OOP, then call him down on a Jd9x6x2dTx board where he bets the exact same amount on every street as pre. He then goes nuts saying Im the worst ever and Im a massive fish. I just nodded and agreed and laughed along. It did help I had a friend on the table who kind of joined in with the guy and took the piss out of him. Also the TD walked past and had a good laugh about it too lol.

I guess its different as I just nodded and agreed. Best way to be IMO. Dont rise to them and smile quietly inside knowing the only reason theyre going nuts is because they got owned

Is it worth trying to tilt players up in some weekend comp? Just go and enjoy yourself and let your poker do the talking. Wouldn't even ask the fella to show his hand actually as you knew he had nothing.
