Violence been seen too many times to mention, but can't think of one incident were anyone was thrown out. Tell a lie, saw a big lad called Minty get asked to leave the cardroom for a round penalty. He came back in after a couple of hands so two security tried to eject him but could not get him to move or put his arms behind his back. Eventually they got him in a head lock and choked him till he passed out then carried him out. You know mma Cos, how do they know when to stop choking. I thought they killed the guy.

I think the point is, it is harmless discussing hands, but when an idiot escalates it and gets out of hand, just snap shout FLOOR.  Its entertainment for the table up until the point someone takes it too personally. Saw it last night where a young-ish bully was hassling an older gent. I told the dealer to call the floor and it had the desired effect.

if you're being choked you'll resist as much as you can until the moment you're out. In professional MMA they only really let go once the referee makes them

Best thing to do in this situation is either

1) Say nothing (as already mentioned) - other guy gets bored of chatting at you very quickly.

2) Agree with your opponent! Just say 'yep I am a fish, sorry about that' - that way he'll feel a bit bad and will prob shut up. If yr a reg and he's a reg he'll then go 'yes you are' and then run out of steam, may even get an apology.

Poker is a game where ego can take over. If you feel that yr telling someone WHY you made a play, that's ego. We have all been there. You feel you need to demonstrate to a weaker opponent why yr play was so good. Don't let that happen.
