Stick pins on your pockets

That or broken glass, somehow has this conversation a few nights ago. Hope all have been safe so far in Barca.

I'm about today, watching my old colleagues being worked to the bone, 16 or 17 hour shifts for dealers are the norm so far, it's the first few days though, but even so, be nice to your dealers today and tomorrow especially, oh and I plan to have a few drinks being my last day in Barca for a while.

Met Mike Hill, top bloke, anyone know how he finished in the Estrella main, was in the money on Av stack last time I saw him?

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Massive plus one. Charming place, but incompetence is too much. The last time I played there was a Spanish poker tour event, where we played 3 and a half hour days, and couldn't persuade the organisers that it wasn't quite the normal thing. I made day 4 and barely got above the starting stack

Goog to write a huge post about this. Absolutely inexcusable. I cued up for over 6 hours to play 4 tournaments (1 I didn't even play) whilst I bought in online already.

So so many bad things.

You would think by season 9 things would have improved.

My favourite EPT is Deauville and the first time round it was awful.

But they have bucked their ideas up and it's very efficient now.

Shame Barca isn't as good.

+1

I think that they massively underestimated demand tho.  So many tournies cancelled.

Was in a 1 day supersat that with about 40 runners left was told that only 3 more levels were to be played as they couldn't run anything past 4.30am.  While everyone was up in arms, I do wonder if its local gaming laws that held them back.

But yeah the reg process was unreal.  Not enough staff to cope.

The cash games were insane.  I think the main poker room had like 20-25 tables and when I went there on Sunday there were about 10 open with literally hundreds of people on the list.  The casino just didn't have the dealers and I heard that they were doing some incred long days.
