the satellite or the £150?

the £150 is 30,000 starting at 50-100, WSOP blinde levels. 30 min clock day 1, 40 minute clock day 2. Very smooth, playable and popular.

Rich - it's a 45 min day 2

Both day 1's start at 5pm, late reg till 8pm, i would prefer we started Saturday at 2pm but we always get more runners for this level of buy in at a later start time, I'm interested in player feedback on Saturday start times, earlier is better for the club for cash games but we do our conkers on gtes in summer when we do 2pm starts

Cheers rob

From a selfish pov I prefer the 2pm start on a Saturday. The later start won't stop me going to DTD it's just I'd rather tackle the 1+plus drive home earlier if I made day 2.

Agree with everyone else, great comp. Must surely be the best tourney to play in the UK.

2pm start on a Saturday is best for everyone I know who comes from Scunny ( half a dozen only ). It's about 75 miles which is just on the limit to drive home and return Sunday. Obv early finish is better for most people who live within this sort of distance.

I think it may just be coincidence with the overlays and early start times. Maybe we could get people to post who will not play Saturday 2 pm start but will the 5pm start and the reasons behind it. That might help you out.

Edit. Most of the people I talked to will play your comps no matter what time of day you start. Do what's best for the club.

Yeah 5pm is a good start time on Saturday, means I can get a load done before coming over for the start.  Best bit is if I get knocked out early (which happens quite a bit), I can prop up the bar and drink and spew on the cash table.  Mind u, I'm an early start early finish type of guy......

Made it on Tuesday.  Bit more expensive in terms of rebuys with the faster structure (unless you can get kings to hold occasionally) but obviously makes sense from DTD perspective and still a great value satellite.  Looking forward to my third bash at this tourney (including one £200 buy-in) as I've really enjoyed the previous attempts, despite crashing and burning on day 1 after chipping up early.  Bit jaded with online poker at the minute so hoping to qualify for these more often so I can start to #lovethegame again.
