Omg. Sats are unreal. When you get used to winning seats you get an expectation that it is your god given right to win one. I have never had to chuck more than 1BI at sats on dtd and can only think of two monte Carlos, two deepstacks and an Irish open that I never actually played that I tried to win seats for. I have bought into about 3 deepstacks in cash (at the £300 entry) so with online sats they may have cost me £500.

The worst one was the Irish open 2 years ago. I had won a package with Paddy Power (for their sole survivor promo) a further seat on line and then a seat in the live sat at dusk til dawn the previous year.  So with winning so much the previous year I hammered the sats and was unaware of how much I had spent until the week before the event. When I checked with my deposits I had only played the sats and had spent £3k. I was sick to my stomach and had not had that feeling since I was about 12 and blew my £5 pocket money on a fruit machine in an arcade I had snuck into

With satellites I say to my self ill only try and spend half the buy in otherwise if you try more you can end up spending more than the seat would of cost and still not get one!
I went thru a spell on DTD where I won a seat every time I played
Now I can't win one !

sats are defo getting harder too lee. They are about the last of the easy money to go in online poker. Ffs they are taking /10c deadly serious now ( and rightly so JCB ). I can't complain as nearly all the live stuff I played was from a sat (wsop, Irish opens, ukipts, Dtd and Marrakesh). You do start to question your game but the thing that gives me hope is that all my mates are still getting seats and most of them can't even spell poker and just follow Herbies guide to ABC.

Thought I saw you won a seat at the club Lee? May have been Williams not Williamson tho

Gukpt sats must still be fairly soft as I have won 3 seats this year.  Obviously junior senior wasn't sat on my left with aces in any of those though!

2 seats is nice mate WP and good luck. Under the new rules can you transfer one to the wife or do you have to use the other within 5 weeks or something?
