Alright fishays,

I'm running a half marathon at the end of October and would very much appreciate it if you could spare a few quid and sponsor me to run it for my chosen charity, Parkinson's UK. I've never ran anywhere close to this distance in my life before btw, although i have been 'training' the last 3 weeks, running 12.5k yesterday (22nd Aug) at a snail's pace Smiley

This particular charity is close to my heart as my nan who passed away late last year was a long time sufferer of this terrible disease.

Research into Parkinson's has already resulted in major advances. Your money will go toward such research in helping to pinpoint how Parkinson's spreads between nerve cells in the brain thus enabling possible treatments to stop this spread, and halt Parkinson's in its tracks.

I will be completing the Run to the beat half marathon (13.1 miles) in London. Here's the link if anyone else wants to gets involved, looks pretty good.

You can either donate using the link provided below or ship to my Stars acc, username simonjjj (avatar is a pic of Cos getting a massage from a ladyboy) or on Party if poss?

Cheers

Simon

Thanks for the donation Woodsey and cheers Tony, appreciate it.

I know i'm 'only' running a 'little' half marathon and i'm not excactly doing anything outrageous but it will still probably kill me. Just thought it would be a nice thing to do and any sum of money would be greatly received. Thankyou

Cheers to Raymondo for his donation, thx mate appreciate it.

Really struggled with my run training the last 2 weeks. Just a few 4-5k runs at a snails pace, need to improve that massively. Think ive found the key to improving my volume level at the poker actually. Find another hobby you 'hate' i.e. run training for this event for charity and put off training to grind instead. Genius!!
