Hello

My name is Anthony Gaughan, I am the writer of the thread "Diary of an MTT Grinder Wannabe" and i am looking to sell 25% of myself in the £1070 main event.

Have been playing NLHE tournaments for the last 5 years as my only source of income and have seen dramatic improvements within the last year. Two weeks ago i came second in the $200k Party $215 for $26k and hopefully this is the start of more huge scores. Only in the last month have i been concentrating on playing as my only focus with university out of the way and in that time i have made the most i have ever made. I hope the trend continues and it could well do considering i have nothing else distracting me.

Below are my poker site names profits.

Live i have had some decent success in the limited occasions i have played. I played the last £1070 GUKPT offered in Walsall and came 10th finding the field to be soft considering the buy in and enjoying myself in the process. This year i also won the old vic monthly £330 for £5k but they don't track the tourn on hendon, will ask eventually for them to put it up.

My hendonmob profile - http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=124220

I will be selling 25% at 1.23 mark up and consider this to be good value considering the good ROI i have proven online, plus this would come in handy to pay for train and hotel expenses as i live in London.

This equates to 5% = £65.80
                       10% = £131.60
                       15% = £197.40
                       20% = £263.20
                       25% = £329

Would have good references from all people i have dealt with on here in the past, f3nix35, pleno1, stuarthopkin, overtheborder, bobalike, greekstein and dubai

On the up at the moment with the nice padding my bankroll has received recently and am looking to take the confidence into crushing the field in Coventry, feedback welcome, cheers for reading.

That 10% was for me.

I initially decided against investing, as I'm getting stricter with myself as to value, having learned a great deal about perceived "value" thanks to the recent debates, but then I read the OP again, (which I think is excellent) & could not resist. I am such a wimp.

Good luck Ant, I loved those Online stats.

How is your pokerstars.fr account doing?

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

How is your pokerstars.fr account doing?

ps.fr account - IrishTree Count: 1,264   Av Profit: -$6.42  Av Stake: $37.08   Av ROI: -0.8%   Total Profit: -$8,114

ladbrokes account is MYYRRRR Count: 118   Av Profit: -$18.98   Av Stake: $56.02   Av ROI: -29.8%   Total Profit: -$2,239

BarneyRIP on Merge is Count: 155   Av Profit: -$11.79   Av Stake: $47.97   Av ROI: -9.9%   Total Profit: -$1,828   Ability: 63

Should have put these up granted, i did however fail to mention that these would have been more than made up for on the profits i made from the defunct cryptologic site had they tracked tourns, as i had played there for 3 solid years with will hill and was up $40k+ easily, and also i made a large chunk of profit on the ant040689 pacific account before they started tracking tournaments.

Also plainly forgot to add another ongame skin of:

MehAnt  Count: 477   Av Profit: $17    Av Stake: $42.1   Av ROI: 57.2%     Total Profit: $8,109   Ability: 89

So from the tracked sites and new info there is a negative of about $4000 i failed to make clear upon. I also play on another network i am up around $4000 to negate that deficit but don't want to disclose my name or indeed the site.

If the stakers are peeved by this you can have your stake back, but hope this doesn't prove too much of a problem.

Hi Ant,

Well yes, those omissions could definitely be construed as misleading, but overall, given your explanation, I'm still happy to proceed.

I don't believe I know you, but I read your Diary, so sort of have a view of you as a person, & I do not think the omission was intended to deceive.

For future reference, I think if any Sharkscope stats are used for reference, then it should include all of them.

Good luck, anyway, & I'm still on board.

It was a mistake and cheers for the understanding.

Blinds 75/150, utg +1 raises 375, dealer +1 re pops to 600, I'm on dealer with JJ and repop to 1700, utg +1 folds, dealer +1 troops to 4000 and I call.

Flop q44

He bets 4k and I call

Turn x

He goes all in for about 12k into a 16k pot, my head said fold my heart/gut/intuition said he had AK but the reason why I folded is if I was calling the flop, how was 12k into about 16k going to deter me from calling the turn?

I folded and he showed AK and I learned to never go against your instinct ever, even if it is defying sensible logic.

I then got into 3 bet situations with 1010-88 and got 4bet and had to fold and generally kept missing flops until I only had 12bbs at 200/400. I was playing for about 2 hours with a short stack just waiting for a decent opportunity, but was card dead. Remember I use to play my trade with turbos so was very comfortable with a short stack.

Exit hand was me with 12bbs 8 handed in mid pos, James Mitchell utg and table captain raises to 850 at 200/400, my range on him here is any suited connectors 67 and above, j10+ really. I have A8 and reshove all in, folds back around and he calls with A8 diamonds and proceeds to flop the flush to see me out.

Lesson learnt today? Never go against your gut, however absurd.
