Syed Zaidi shoves for 30,000

Peter Linton flats in the cut off

In the small blind Quy Trieu reshoves for 85,000

Linton is playing 100,000

He umms and aaahs and thinks and eventually puts the chips in to make this a three way confrontation

Zaidi

Linton

Trieu

the board runs out

2-10-Q-2-3 to treble Trieu up, knock out Zaidi and leave Linton checking the cash game boards

Trieu as he trebles

Rick Advani raises in mid position playing 120,000

Adam Forsyth calls in the big blind

Forsyth check calls on K-5-5

turn J check check

river 5

Forsyth leads, and is set in by Advani

Call, by K-9 from Forsyth

Only to be crushed by 5-2dd from Advani to knock him out

Advani, as Forsyth departed the table was in educational mode to his felt compatriots

"I've only played good cards all day, you've seen that. Knew he'd never see me coming if I hit"

Nope. I had the good fortune to meet both Doobs and Tal in Vegas this year. Both have been very +ev since, terrific guys both of them, very sharp, too. Except Tal, he's a Spurs fan.

Solid strat imo. Play solid all day, then play 52 knowing if you hit quads vs nut boat you're bound to get paid Cheesy

Iqbal Ahmed raises to 4,000 at 1,000-2,000

Local Anon, here every night I have ever been here, makes it 9,000

Mad Turk in the big blind ponders, his eyes narrow and he flats the 3 bet

Ahmed, the UKIPT Nottingham finalist, Stars Supernova and serial chip getter, flats

28,000 in the middle

Checked to the local who fires out a whopping 30,700 from over 160,000

Turk folds

Ahmed playing 130,000 or so, calls

88,000 in the middle

turn

Ahmed checks

Local  40,000

Ahmed ponders

(at this point I've worked out who has what, roughly. Wasted on here lol)

and asks the dealer to spread the pot

He's getting big pot odds to hit what I assumed was hearts, and eventually calls

168,000 in the middle

river

Ahmed a quick think and shoves his last 60,000 in

Local Anon looks to the skies and exhales...for a moment he contemplates the pass but eventually calls with  and beats

Ahmed two hearts to scoop a massive 290,000 pot and assume the chip lead
