In for 5%

Is that £28 or £40?

BT to Alex, or cash tomorrow?

I think you mean it to be £28, which is the 'standard' 70/30 mates rates staking deal.
Sell 100% and pay your backers 70% of the winnings.

If the price is £5.60 per 1% I'll take 7.5% btw.

In regardless

Ok thanks Patrick I have been mis informed again. This is good that it is highlighting the cloudiness of staking but as you can appreciate I am trying to be as transparent as possibly. So a 70/30 does not = 1.4, I thought that selling at 2.0 gets you a freeroll for 50%

Was more of hoping for flaming along the lines of Oi Herbert you are a tosser and just got lucky for 18 months , instead of Oi thicko your maths is tez.

If anyone can word it better for me please feel free to do so.

On the bright side there are no local taxes to pay in Nottingham.

Oh just thought about tips/ massages etc. these all come out of my 30%. Least we have some good news Smiley

For somebody who literally does read every single post on blonde it's funny that you got it went. You're obviously great at heart and is probably suggest making a new thread and carrying over the %s to the op there as there I about 5 different prices etc within this thread and were not on page 2.

@mods now do you see why mulligans template is absolutely necessary? If most frequent poster on the site gets it wrong the. We can't expect any new poster (with 300 posts) to get it right.

The  Milligan template needs to be implemented asap

Sigh didn't want to post in this shambolic thread. But Pleno talks sense, apart from the bit about some random called Mulligan. Who the fuck is he?

Herbie, you are pure comical. Obv I am under it at the moment, but if I was rolling in it you can rest assured.... I wouldn't touch this. Wiiiiiiiiiii. Just say selling 100%, 70/30 after stakeback. so 1% is still £5.60 10% £56... instead of this 1% is £8 madness.

He is selling 70%.  If he sells 70% he has collected £560.  Dreenie has paid £320 for 40% of the winnings.  This seems fine to me.  1% is £8.  He is not selling 100% so never collects £800.

Seems right to me.

Please let me be right on this!

Doobs you are right, but it is clearly confusing to some people. It is £560/70 = £8 per 1%.

Dreenie will get 40% of the total winnings which makes sense, not 40% of 70% of the winnings if you know what I mean.  The method which has always been done before is 70/30 so sell 100% and people get the corresponding % of 70% of the winnings. It is exactly the same just worded differently.

Cheers David great post and it just gave me that light bulb moment.

Yeah the way I am doing it is that I am selling 70% and not the full 100%.

Right forget all that then so instead of selling 70% at £8/% I can sell 100% at £5.60 but if you buy 1% at £5.60 you are entitled to .7% of the winning , buying 2% £11.20 entitles you to 1.4% of the winnings and buying 10% at £56 gets you 7% of the winnings.

That looks much better (even tho it probably amounts to the same thing)

This was never gonna run smoothly then.

I obv trust any one stupid enough to want to back me and we can take it easy and play it cool obv.

So now should I change op

Way hay just read doobs bit so pleased to have someone educated. Now how gonna leave as is originally planned.

I think you may even find that buying 1% at £8 my way selling 70% is exactly the same as buying 1% at £5.60 selling 100%

Right stop for one minute please don't post any more as I am not keeping up at all and need to catch my breath.

I am all over the place and probably look like I do when I am multi tabling 6 tables.

I am liking the debate tho as it is showing that even the most educated don't even understand it fully.

We will stick to the original plan and sell 70% at 1% for £8 and you get full 1% of the cash ( and not sell 100% at 1% for £5.60 to get 0.7% of the cash even tho I think they probably amount to exactly the same thing)

Thanks for the patience this was never gonna be easy with me was it Smiley

Right am gonna get a pen an paper and post who has what so far. I will put provisionally against those who I thinkight not want to flick it in and we can confirm, i am sure paying £8 for 1% is the same as paying £5.60 for .7% anyway. No hard feelings either way as I am convinced this will sell because I am so popular Smiley

Right g

Clear as mud.

I've given up, my eyes are bleeding.

I want you to play, & I want Tighty to rip you all day. And I want you to win so you can have a new chirp, Marrakaesh is so 2006.

I'll have £56 worth please, whatever that is.

I'll send the cash this morning by Bank TX to Goulden Bollox.
