Min-cashed in 21st for £600 again so some return at least for the stakers.
It was looking good for a while, I'll do a proper write-up later.

At least you didn't have to show up both days for your -100%. Pls make my day better by ruining it all. Thanks

The day started well when a shortstack open-shoved 50k in the second or third orbit which I called with AQ in the BB and I was up against ATo, no gremlins as the flop ran out and I was up to an almost average 150k.
The big hand was in the next level(3k/6k/500) when Tassos opened to 15k UTG+1 and I find AK hh OTB. I make it 35k and he wants to shove with a slightly bigger stack than mine. With 115k back it was pretty much a routine call for me. Tassos had QQ, I think the hand played itself with those stacks.
A paintless flop with two hearts was promising and the river delivered a beautiful third heart to complete my flush and a healthy double-up+ to an above-average 310k. There was some grumbling about my call afterwards but I felt it was standard. Happy to receive feedback on that.
A couple of new guys come to the table and one of them open-shoves for 72k, all fold to my BB and I find AQo again and duly call. He produces A8o, I flop a Q too but it ran out cccc and his matching 8 won the pot in a rather deflating coup. Instead of 380k I was back to 220k.
The table broke shortly after that and we were down to four tables of nine with 27 getting paid. I went a little card-dead but managed to avoid bubbling thankfully eventually going out 21st after open-shoving 140k with AJo @ 6k/12k/2k and getting snapped by my left-hand neighbour who had QQ. The A, J, 9 on the flop was promising but it ran out T, K which seemed a little sadistic to me.
A very enjoyable if rather tiring couple of days grinding and really enjoyed spending time with many old friends especially Dewi who was great table company for the last few hours on day one and all too briefly today for my last rites. I think I might be getting my pojo back!
I'll sort out all the monies in the next couple of days, thanks for the support.

Well played Ralph, it was fun.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
