i thought the photo was funny and dont think any harm was meant
you guys down south take things too serious
up here we can drink in pubs with 30% gers 30% celts 30% dons and even the odd jam tart or hibbie
basically if you want to link to a photo of celtic pak then thats up to you
i dont think there is any harm in putting up a pic of yourself in your team colours
Ironside - can i drink the other 10% that nobody wants...if its free

Dave, I have a things I'd like to say,
Firstly, had the photo been of someone dressed in Barnsley, Crewe, East Fife or dare I suggest Celtic attire would you have been so vociferous in asking for it to be removed?
Secondly, you correctly state that this is a poker forum and has nothing to do with football, yet when I read through the Glasgow Poker Room thread I find you using a derogatory and offensive term to describe Rangers fans.
PS the derogatory and offensive term you used was the 'H' word.

ENOUGH GUYS
we aint in a glasgow pub now
although this is a poker forum we can NORMALLY make joke about football because MOST of us are grown up enough to understand football is a game
if you cant understand that just dont post on any thread that has football content
as for photo's there is as long as the photo for a profile doesnt break the law or has nothing morally offensive to a normall human being then there is nothing wrong with it
for goodness sake redsimon has been seen with photos of him in a notts forrest tracksuit now if there is anything offensive in football it would be that

I used to keep an eye out for them during the Ron Noades era. Did you ever meet Mrs N!?!

No, my Golden Era at Brentford, when I went home & away every match for 20 years, was really pre Ron Noades. The Chairman - whose name eludes me now - tried to sell us to QPR, horror of horrors, then he went off to Notts County. Good riddance. We had a "Save Brentford" Campaign, & we all bought shares in the club to fight off the proposed merger. When he went to Notts County, he took Ron Fenton, who was an inside forward (do they still have them?) with him, & he ended up at Forest with Cloughie I believe.
Happy days.

Fenton was manager in mid 70s between two of Jimmy Sirrel's reigns, the latter could walk on water. I remember Fenton working with clough during a difficult time when the FA were looking inot sale of Cup Final tickets. Seem to remember Fenton ending up with a Sheffield team, not sure.
Was the chairman Jack Dunnett (MP and spiv)?

Jack Dunnett, that's him.
Jimmy Sirrell - what a great manager he was! I think we conceded 7 goals one season. Scored about 8 I fancy. Dunnett pinched him for Notts County, too.
