After a few months of waiting and excitement for it op open, it finally is here.

The launch night looked like it got off great and the from the outisde it does look brilliant. The launch night saw some Emmerdale stars there and even the gold medal winning Ms Ellis there too.

For the Sheffield regulars, we are hoping for some quality to come out of it, as we have had to put up with the G-Casino not treating us fairly, but I suppose Naps at both Eccy Road and Hillsborough haven't been bad. I am actually hoping that they actually wipe the floor with G-Casino over the next few years for sure, after quite a few issues.

So for all of you regulars to a local Genting, what can we expect?

Definitely be making the short trip from Donny to this place.

Couple of questions to bother you with pls...

What's it like for parking round there?
What's gentings levels and structures like in tourneys?

Should be there tomorrow night to give it a spin, looking forward to it.

Cheers

I don't know answer to questions with sure answers.

Car parking? The casino is directly under a car park...

Structure - Look on wesbite? They have their schedule on website.

Being a regular at GentIngDerby I expect it to be awesome. If they get a good manager and dealers like we have then it should wipe the floor with anywhere your badly treated. I will certainly be making some trips up.

That area is swarming with armies of Chinese students whenever I drive past, assuming a fair few of them have rich parents, I see a chunk of the profits for the casino coming from that group.

Yes I noticed that this year, my missus works next to the University and she said there are loads this year. The new Genting even had a Chinese dragony show last night in the bar.

The casino is under a massive car park, no idea if you get cheap rates (its the most expensive car park in the city) but it is in an amazing location. I'll be popping down this week at some point.

its mid autumn festival on sunday hence the dragon show.

Also most chinese students are very rich and love to gamble and dont mind doing chunks!

lots of chinese in manchester hanging around in casinos cos there is nothing else fun to do.

just hope I can become friends with them and introduce them to some poker Smiley

They are running 24 hour, but of course I don't think there will be a game anytime before 5pm most days.

I'd suggest going down tomorrow at some point as they have one of the bigger buyin games on tomorrow. Cash games @ G-Casino have been starting at 5-5.30pm, would probably guess same.
