Florian limps from the hijack on the £10 straddle. I raise to £40 from the cutoff. Keith Johnson calls on the button. James makes it £160 from the straddle. Florian folds. We?

James starts the hand with £950 and we cover.

Dynamics: game is pretty slow and tight, about to break. I am winning, James is about level afaik. James knows I'm pretty aggro pre but knows I tend to lock up wins in big games towards the end of the session so might think I'm not gonna fk with him in this specific spot. We don't actually have much history / dynamic together.

Keith is pretty peel-happy and will almost definitely peel if I peel (Keith has me covered about 2k effective and is obv a superior player and ip), he is also likely to peel if I fold and James knows this making his range slightly less bluff heavy IMO.

Rank our options with explanations if you like.

Peel, fold, jam, raise/call, raise/fold.

James knows I'm pretty aggro pre

In the context of this hand, does this mean that you would be isoing pretty wide?

Fold.

Dynamics: game is pretty slow and tight, about to break.

Fold > 4betfold to £290 > 4bet call > Jam > call

I dont know enough about James but I am going to presume he is good. Everything postflop is going to be meh for you unless you flop absa gin.

Add to that, even if for some reason James intends to check fold flop, Keith is behind 2k effective and is going to give you grief pretty often too.

I actually think 4bet calling/folding are really really close and it really depends on your image and if you have any relevant history.

Jamming is a bit meh, lets him play perfect. If you think his range is wide enough and hes got a 5 bet bluff in him then just 4bet call.

Another thing with our 4bet sizing. We can make it really small here. I really dont care if he flats our 4b. Hes going to be OOP and we have a pretty hand + initiative. Will be a exceptionally easy game.

I'd call, both 4bf, 4bc would be really bad, folding seems too weak when its such a great spot.

sooted too.

I would agree calling is the nut line if he squeezes to £120 or smaller. £160 makes life so shitty though. Going to be £400+ going to the flop and turns gonna be a PSB.

I honestly think calling is the nut low with our stack size and his squeeze size

Do you have to describe the action? Can't you just link to the video?

Pretty close to JustinSayne and for similar reasons:

Fold > 4bet/fold > 4bet/call > Call > Jam. Probably switch Jam and Call with AJo.

meh Just fold, game's breaking just can't see Keys taking off into a spot where Kieth's always going to call without something for value

Value = better than AJs here imo, not saying you won't show a profit callings or 4betting I just think this isn't a spot we really need in our lives.
