Triplet facing turn x/r
«
on:

Dtd live £1/2 cash, villain is Phil Clarke: semi old-school/semi modern ABC. Rarely gets way out of line imo, but capable of the occasional bluff.
Effective stacks £300~
Raise cutoff unopened to £7 with
, button calls, villain calls from bb.
Flop (£22)
villain checks, we bet £15, fold, villain calls.
Turn (£52)
villain checks, we bet £39, villain raises to £105 (with about £170 back)
Any ideas?
If we call, what's our plan on rivers?

Imo, id either be shoving or folding def not calling to avoid awkward river cards.
Now it comes down to whether you think you are beat which in this case would be player/read dependant.
So in summary avoid problematic rivers by making the decision here on the turn.
Thats my 2 cents anyways

Unnecessary really. When referring to Phil, 'Legend' will suffice.
As for the hand, with what's in the pot and what's back surely it's a shove here? Then again I'm just a amaregrecfishnit so my thinking might be flawed here. But I find it difficult to get away from middle set here. If you're not shoving, then the only alternative is to fold?

Jamming can't be good as vs his range were pretty crushed, see massively, and we don't want worse to fold nor will better fold if we jam

Was going to reply, but then realised Pleno has said everything I had to say.
Quite suprised by all the jam advocates.
When you include 45s in Dan's very decently constructed range then we don't look too great at all.

Taking away half of the combos of T9o, 4/7 of the combos of 76o and adding all of the 45s combos we have 45%

When you say that, are you saying we cant fold turn but could then fold certain rivers, or that you're just not folding full stop - if its the first case what rivers are you folding? I think I tend to make decision here whether i want to get the lot in, whether that be calling turn and calling any shove on river or just shoving now.. l would find it hard to build a pot by calling turn and then letting it go on river, may aswell just fold turn?! but that is prob flawed
