Meanwhile, having succeeded in getting his stack all in blind in level 1 against Terry Fletcher, a willing accomplice, Linton is now six levels into a quest to do the same in the hope of a double up to a leading stack

Good news for him, a table is broken and Mad Turk comes onto his table

Bad news for him, several players between him and Turk

Linton turns to Paul Garnham, newly installed on his left and asks him if he is up fro a gamble

Paul replies that he isn't (never a truer word.... )

Linton then tells the table

"I would do it, but I don't like to give nits the action before it gets to the gamblers"

"I wouldn't mind but I am outplaying the whole table and they just call and win"

A few eyebrows raise....

Linton then min raises 10-4 UTG+1 (delcared after the hand by him, and seen by me during)

Mad Turk calls on the button

Shola Akindele who has played a very patient short-stack game all day, shoves 30,000 from the small blind

both fold

Linton chunters light-heartedly on....

Guy Barron knocks out Stuart Fox, finding A-K in the big blind to a button shove from A-7 shortstacked

Mad Turk has knocked out Pete Linton

Turk called an all in on the turn from Linton, with two overs and a flush draw. Turk thought he needed to hit to win, but he was actually already ahead with Ace high

As Pete said to me afterwards "I went out bluffing", with a big smile
