Due to the increased work load generated by the success of Game for Life and Poker4Charity it has become necessary to create a number of new positions.
Please note: all the positions are currently unpaid. All out of pocket expenses will be paid, any required resources provided and any training required will be arranged. Some of the positions may become renumerated jobs in the not too distant future, however at the present Game for Life is run by volunteers.Fundraising Manager - Game For LifeSomebody is required to head up the fundraising activities of the Registered Charity. Reporting directly to the trustees the individual who takes on this very challenging role will be responsible for all fundraising activities of the charity. Experience of a similar role is not important, however the ability to communicate and work independently is a must.
Director - Game for Life Enterprises LtdA professional, highly motivated 'mover & shaker' is required to join the board of directors of the trading company Game for Life Enterprises Ltd. The ideal candidate would be someone with experience of either company start ups or who has managed a rapidly expanding business. The successful candidate would be responsible for creating and developing profitable new businesses that will help fund the charitable work of Game for Life. Experienced business people only please.
Project Manager - Game for Life Enterprise LtdWorking alongside the recently appointed Project Manager and reporting to the Directors of Game for Life Enterprises Ltd this individual will be responsible for the creation and development of a single project, and once developed maintain that project at a level of excellence. Previous expwerience is not essential, however the successful candidate will need to display dogged determination and an iron will to succeed.
Regional Co-Ordinators - Poker4CharityReporting to the Poker4Charity General Manager, the Regional Co-ordinators are responsible for publicising and promoting P4C events and membership in their localities along with helping to stage events in their area. The Regional Co-ordinators are on the front line in ensuring the Poker4Charity name remains at the fore in the poker world.
You will have noticed that no hours have been included. A lot will depend on the indivuals who are successful, however a ball park figure of 5-10 hours per week can be used in initialy determining if you have enough time to devote to these very worthy opportunities.
