i folded due to that act utg had limped alot and when he makes the large raise i think he is saying he is commiting to calling if limper reships.
or is he just using his stack to take the limp from utg

should i 3bet on the button here ? fold if shoved on


This hand was posted my a friend  of mine on a different forum,  and due to varied response I am very interested to get some further opinions as it seems most disagree with my analysis.  Please can I have some opinions on how you would play this spot in a low buy in soft game, with not stats or info on villain

By the way am new to the forum, but active on other forums so look forward to joining in with the community as I understand there are a lot of very decent players posting on here.

How far from the money are you?

Are you saying you're 3betting with the intention of folding? We don't enough chips to do this. Whatever our 3bet size we're committing ourselves, so if we're raising then we should jam. But, I don't like being all-in with two nines in low buyin MTTs when someone 6x's it 'cause it's JJ way more often than it should be.

Basically it really doesn't look like he's going to fold, so you're flipping with a tiny overlay, or you're crushed. I'm a horrible nit though, so maybe others disagree. Don't mind the fold though.
