Was meant to happen the other day but the weather wasn't right. Amazing stuff.
Apparently he'll break the sound barrier within 30 seconds of the jump as the air is so thin, and after a while will slow down to below the speed of sound because the density of the air as it becomes thicker.
Mad stuff!

Now gone beyond 115,000ft - so now the highest ever manned balloon flight. It's taken him 2 hours 5 minutes to get to 35.3Km - which is slower than the elite marathon runners travel - but a little faster than I can run
