Every time you post a staking thread I see it too late! I'll manage to get a piece of you one time.
I'll have to set the mark up higher, then there will be plenty for everyone  There is another way. |

I think 1.2 gives the buyer some value, and it usually sells out pretty quickly and I'm very happy with that. The only event I would charge more than 1.2ish is the WSOP main (possibly a couple of 1k and 1.5ks there too..) and I *might* hold an auction for that next year. |

The fact is, people that are buying shares in me are doing me a favour.
For whatever reason, I don't want to pay the whole amount of a buyin to a tournament and I want to spread the cost.
I hope I am giving them value by selling at 1.2 in return for doing me this favour.
If I sold by auction, the chances of buyers getting value are severely reduced.
