you're more like the prolific criminal they've hired to provide insider knowledge of dodgyness. you do this whilst keeping your edgy appeal for the crowds. wp

i'm loath to criticise anything dtd do but i think this 150/500 weekend is pushing the 'trying to cater for everyone' mantra too far, too often.

surely better to have one 300 event & i'm pretty sure first place money would easily surpass 40k

£250,000 GTD £60 GRAND PRIX 22ND - 29TH SEPT 2013

5pm start with 40 minute clock and presumably scheduled for a minimum 15 levels? (or possibly 17) That's a gruelling test if you've been at work all day.

The £500 finished very late on Sunday - would it not be better to have Day 2 starting at noon?

Amen to this. 17 levels + breaks = Sad

PS - Is there any news on possible GP, Monte Carlo, £500 Deepstack (if there is another) & Chipleader?

Hey

There will be the return of some/all of these events early next year, after the CPP we will be focusing on 2013's schedule Smiley Smiley Smiley

Cheers Nicola

Yes to all of this. I am not sure why it ever changed? I remember why it changed and it was to up the gte to 150k, but now we are back at 100k. The 300 one never had any problems making the gte and ow the 500 does Sad Sad

Paying £500 really does stretch the boundary for me & a few others.

Make yer mind up !!

The £300 1st weekend of the month and £150 in 3rd weekend seemed to work in terms of numbers of players. Did it work for DTD though in terms of income generated?
As I recall it, the £300 weekend used to also have a £150 one dayer on Sunday?

To my simple mind, having both the £500 and a £150 running in tandem seems to be having an impact on the £500, but I do think that the £500 numbers have been impacted more by a reduction in the number of satellite seats on offer over the period when most of the satellite effort was aimed at St Kitts.

Are you playing the sats?

Might be a better idea to put a BAP up & have a bash at both?

I will be playing live sats if they run em but did not really like stumping up the £560 this month to play as I am a nit.
