In the £150 definitely though maybe play £500 mega sat at the club Friday if it runs.
this looks my likely option right now. If you win a few feeders online can you use them for rebuy and add on in mega sat. Not been on the site for a while. If you win a feeder you can't register for a later feeder on same day oh ok. So if you win a feeder for peanuts then the comp is still likely to cost peanuts + £50 + £50 or do you still have the usual tossers trying to get folks playing it as a 1 bullet freeze out? Guilty. i am not judging mate. Ain't been on for a while as I am killing lap tops for fun but 2 lads I come down with both have seats ( in 2 seat gtd comps I believe ) and both never had rebuy or add on.

Jase, the two seats ( 500 and 150) whcih I won through feeders - I didnt rebuy and add on. 10k chips for 50 euros is plenty of chips I believe!!! Although I should ass I might have spend another half BI trying to get a Rentry ticket! :-(

Thanks tighty! I would be very unlikely to entry same day anyway id much rather go home and start again! If i do get lucky enough to win another seat can i imagine i can choose not to use it and save it for another time if i dont want to?

Kinboshi won a seat to the £500 and the £150 last night. Congratulations, but that is just greedy! Anyone else qualified yet? A reminder the Online satellites are nightly this week http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/satellites/500-deepstack

the 10 seat guarantee satellites are good value and can be won with just the one buy in. I have done so a couple of times in recent months although not this month. two attempts no luck.
I normally buy in direct if I fail to qualify but not this time. I seem to run terrible in the DTD £500 events losing with Quads, sets, AA and KK etc. So from now on its one satellite attempt and give it a miss if I fail.
I know its been requested many times on here recently about bringing back the £300 monthly. I would echo that or if not then the clock needs increasing to 1 hour. 40 Min's for £560 is not good. Its just my opinion but it seem players will attend in their hundreds for a good structure with a one hour clock. The GPS and UKIPT's are proof of that. I believe they had around 570 odd players at Sheffield GPS. It was a 1 hour clock with all the levels and 25k stack. Great tournament even though I busted last level on day 1 (thanks Barny).
I am puzzled as to why DTD does not not adopt a similar formulae for their monthly events which are poorly attended over recent months. I say this constructively because I am a DTD fan and reg.
I appreciate DTD have had problems sometimes hitting their guarantee so it cost the club money. Most players do not want the club losing money on any event. But if the structure and buy in are right the players will flock there.
The biggest factor in my decision making as to whether to play any event is the structure in relation to the buy in. Clearly its nice to see a big fat guaranteed prize pool but the right structure will generate big prize pools.

Not sure if the tournament could be squeezed in over two days (with the split Day 1s as well, obviously) with hour-long levels.
An additional 20 minutes a level = an additional 3 hours every 9 levels.
There is an argument for the £300 v £500, but not sure there's an adequate argument for increasing the levels from 40 minutes to an hour. Still plenty of play with a 40-minute clock for a monthly deepstack event. Not sure that there's a clamour for the monthly deepstack at DTD to have the hour levels and the issues of trying to shoe-horn it into a two-day event. Might be wrong though.

I think it worked well with 40 minutes Day 1 and an hour on Day 2? Likewise the lower level tournaments with a 30min/40min clock (Grands Prix)
Can't get there this weekend but loving the return of the mega sats and will definitely be there in January one way or another.
