yup. It is sort of £13m though, apparently the appearances add on isn't too hard to breach and is sort of in case he gets injured, the extra £2m is for England call ups and trophies won, so is much more speculative.
His performances waned completely ever since the England call up and I don't think the board were as confident of how good he is because of it. So they were definitely not as confident holding out for £20m, and effectively were sold a dummy (as was I) with how good he was pre England to how he was post. I think the only reason he hasn't been playing so well was he was mentally affected by not having the future he wanted, secure (head turned in the England camp, show off bastards!
). Now he has that, and I really hope he gives it his all in Palace colours before he heads off in the summer.
I want Zaha of pre England call up playing for us again and if so then we are a huge threat and will be snapping at the heels of whoever is second.
Some numbers to digest about Palace:
Pre England Call up ---- 13 games won 10 drew 3 Lost 0
Post England call up ---- 12 games won 3 drawn 7 lost two
If he played at the same standard he showed before the call up in the lead up to this transfer he would have gone for £17m+, as we would probably be second in the league and the Chairmen would probably be gambling for the prem with his services intact and wait on the summer.
At the moment, the board have seen his crazy dip in form, are a little scared he may not rise to the same heights and want to lock in a guaranteed profit AND/OR Zaha wants to go and no-one wants a dead weight in the side, because he's playing not fully there in the head.
2 games into his spell as a Man U player but loaned back to us are going to be massive to see if we have Zaha of old playing for us. A happy Zaha. If so, God help the rest of you having to listen to me on here.
