I will have an evens bet with anyone on £16m or higher up to £150. I have been saying no lower than £20m, but that was off the back of the Chairmen's comments and they may be pulling a fast one. If i was to put money on it I would have £16m or higher if anyone wants a piece of that?

Lol, stop being so deluded Ant!
Back to matters Poshy...
"According to forums, the four players were smoking, drinking and got into a fight with fans over the disappointment that is this season. Two were apparently arrested."
Zak has posted the following on twitter:
"I went out on a weekend where there's no midweek game, those that know me know I don't drink or smoke, I was up at 8am for church next day. Honestly at the time I didn't feel I did anything wrong as I was home around 2am, I wasn't arrested, no fighting or anti social behaviour. I understand the club are not happy as we are at the wrong end of the table and I have nothing but total respect for the gaffa and staff. I'm hurt its come to this as we have made a lot of history in the past 5 seasons and I love the club to bits, sorry to all my fans. I hope it gets resolved one way or another, and I'm 100% committed, and never will give less than that. Thanks x #UTP"

You have gone away from £20m or higher to £16m or higher.
I will have £100 with you @ EVS @ £19m or higher if he sells for less, I win, if he sells for more, you win.

And I have £19m on the nose? Obviously void bet if he doesn't go. Needs to be inclusive of all add ons even if the criteria isn't eventually met by the player and not just the up front payment. If that's all good I will take the bet.

Sounds ridiculous from the board, who probably just want him out. I would imagine it was just one of those players acting the pillock with the rest hanging around. If there were more players there that weren't listed as they are much more integral to the team then this would all be a farce.

Yes, you have £19m on the nose.
I am happy with the terms, but bet until 1st September, yeah? I don't really want the bet lasting for the next 5 years

Could we have it for just this next coming transfer window in January please? You confirm that and it's booked from my end.

The link below is to a feature length interview with Wilfiried Zaha. Interesting read. He mentions that he will decide about his Palace future in January which doesn't sound like a man averse to leaving but it really won't be too much down to him imo, all about the offer coming in. He does mention how important it was to get championship games under his belt and talked of the sorry tale of John Bostock. In failing elsewhere, that man has helped keep Nathanial Clyne and Wilfried Zaha in the team longer then they would have otherwise, showing just how hard it is to get a game in the first team of a prem club. I also didn't realise we turned down £6m for Zaha in the summer from Reading.

In another article, Steve Browett, our co-chairmen has been quoted as saying this, "Whatever they offer, it's nothing compared to the prize of being promoted. We are not a one-man team but he is our star player, and we hope he will be a star player for Crystal Palace next season. Why would we risk our promotion prospects by selling him?"
Dunno what that is worth but those comments are alongside Steve Parish, another co-chairman, saying that £20m isn't even enough. They are driving a hard bargain by the sounds of it, or they don't mind being embarrassed by past statements if they do sell for less than £20m.
