Wouldn't mind a match bet, Leicester points for the remainder of the season v Cardiff points.

lol, I've seen all the top sides at least 5 times this season and Hull and Boro have impressed me the most. Hull looked awesome on boxing day, maybe the best championship performance from a midfield that I've ever seen. Just signed Meyler for 1.5m which was important, they don't mind splashing the cash.

Along with Cardiff & Leicester, those 4 do seem certs for the top 6 already, which is unusual in the cship.

Cardiff are by far the best side in this league imo. Zaha would not change that

Cardiff are going to be found out soon imo, they have been winning some games barely and though that is the sign of champions, I have watched them this season and just thought they were really exploitable at the back. They do well in taking their chances though so fair play.

Leicester I do worry about much more. They have had one or two lulls this season but them in full flow, especially with Knockheart who I agree is the best player in this league, are very impressive. Haven't seen enough of Boro to really judge and every time I see Hull I am underwhelmed, but much like Boro I don't know enough about them.

Palace in full flow, and i think that now we have our first win in five the results will start coming back with great assurance, is the best team in the league, imo. We went to Leicester at their ground at the height of their powers and won, we embarrassed Cardiff too when they came to our ground and aside from our first home game that we had Martin at centre back, we haven't lost at home this season and have been thoroughly dominant most games.

We have had this lull though which had been worrying but i feel fine about it now, we just needed that win and were very unlucky on most occasions when we didn't get it. I think we are now going to close the gap on Cardiff and I hope them and everyone else around there start dropping points to make it easier. Would also too like to mention that our run in until the end of the season is without all of the top teams away from home and I think that will factor in too in our potential dominance of all leftover games to come.

We have the most prolific poacher in the Championship, have one of the best wingers in Bolasie, and if there is a better holding midfielder in the league than Mile Jedinek I would be mightily surprised. Arguments too that Speroni is the best, or at least in the top 4 goalkeepers in the league. We have Gabiddon and Delaney at CB who have both been awesome.

I am definitely confident of our automatic promotion chances. Will be interesting too to see what Holloway will do in the window and has anyone any viewpoint on Jacob Butterfield as he has been linked with us?

Tell you what Ant, you like a beet, how about this.

You have Palace, I'll have any team out of Cardiff, Leicester, Hull, Brighton or Boro. You can pick my team.

Who gets more points from now until the end of the season.

We can have a straight up bet, or a spread bet (If Palace get 5 more points than Hull, you win 5x the stake etc etc).

How about it?

What are the odds for each team you are putting forward or are they all at evens I can pick anyone from that list for you to have to try and beat Palace in the placings? Not interested in a spread bet, only the outright.

Max bet?

Wanna know the gist of what you are offering, I am basically in as soon as you respond back with that.

An even bet, you get the advantage of choosing which team you are opposing from that list.

It's a bet on points gained from today onwards, all points gained already are not included

I'll add Watford to the list if you like, but points deductions obviously don't count.

I'll take Cardiff at evens on this one if you want Leicester Camel.  Think it's pretty much a coinflip so looks a fun bet although I'm aware the spread firms think Leicester will get one point more.  Happy to do relatively low stakes as you don't know me.  £150 or something and settle 20th May or whenever season ends.  PM me if you fancy a wager and I'll let you know who I am on Hendon.  Alternatively £15 a point spread match bet.

Chalobah will play a decent chunk of Chelsea's games next year I think.

Just to point out if you guys are doing Watford in a match bet we have a game in hand on everyone else which messes the match bet up on the proposed terms.

You probably can name about 3 of the other teams holding midfielders, so how do you come to this conclusion?

Hull's defensive midfield duo were very good when I saw them beat us as well I must say.

For Jedinek, it is a case of in every game I have seen this season he has been the best centre midfielder on the pitch by some way. He is a colossus. I think I have seen over half the games of our campaign too. I did say I would be surprised if I saw better, not that he is the out and out supreme player, but I have no idea what has got into him he was awful last season.

Camel, cheers for pointing out its from this point forward as I had missed that.

I want us against Brighton please? How does £150 sound?

Booked for £150.

If tied settle on GD, then GS from this point on.

Standings today (to remind ourselves where the bet begins from)

Palace Played 26  Points 47 For 50 Against 34 +16
Brighton Played 25 Points 37 For 35 Against 26 +9

Good luck!
