I could kiss a Peterborough fan right now...

And Barnsley fans, and God forbid a Brighton fan if they win tonight.

I'm thinking big, so Huddersfield fans can join the love fest if they want.

Not a bad start with a new club:

Jason Scotland - 3 goals in 0 starts.

No I am stuck near home at the moment

Sounds like Vardy and Waghorn were especially profligate today

Hull lose, and its as you were near the top essentially.

true. Leicester have to go to Brighton, Cardiff,Palace in the last quarter of the season. Could be easier, but every week is a test in a nasty league

Unfortunate result for Blackpool against Barnsley, I've read the write ups on their forums which obviously say they were unlucky etc.

Wondering if Curtis was there and his thoughts on the game beyond being delighted with another 3 points of course Smiley

Not there today, as it was Grace's christening this morning.  Even without that, they restricted ticket sales for away fans due to problems with supporters falling through the floor of their away stand (so definitely would be a high risk candidate!)

Listened to the commentary and it sounds like we continued the new modus operandi - soak up whatever the home team throws at us and then hit them on the counter, this time twice.

Including cup games, thats P8 W6 D1 L1 since Flitcroft has been in charge as caretaker and then as manager.  Loving Jason Scotland so far, and looking forward to seeing Rory Delap launch some long throws for us, rather than against us for once!

Looking as a neutral (and pretending I wasn't one of the posters) if we look at the last two posts Barnsley might be an interesting bet next week at the Riverside at a big price.  Would expect to see 5/1+ and that would definitely be value in my book.

Of course not only am I thoroughly depressed about this result I didn't have a penny on Barnsley.

Price never got above 4/1 and was 7/2 this morning.  Hindsight's wonderful but I didn't see value in that this morning.

Not such a bad weekend after all.  Leicester lose to bottom of the table.  Boro lose yet again. Even Dull lose.

Starting to fancy Blackburn for the playoffs now.  Quietly edging into contention under Appleton.  Think Boro are shot.

I like Ian Holloway a lot, but just watched him whingeing on about The Orns loanee deals with The Pozzos on the FL prog   ....   which seemed a bit rich coming from the manager who's just flogged his best player to Utd, and then borrowed him back to the end of the season!

But a lovely bloke apart from that - thus a little true story.

My oldest lad was playing for Chipperfield in the Herts County League a couple of years back, whilst a certain Badger Fancier was on 'gardening leave' from his manager's role @ QPHaahaahaa.

The lads were getting changed, and awaiting the manager's arrival for the pre-match talk.

The changing room door opened and in walked their manager with a brand new head coach, none other than the out of favour Bush Ranger!

They did their best to pick their jaws up off the floor as it was announced Ollie was going to take charge of team matters that day!

After being assured it was no wind up, Ollie (who was good mates with the Chipper boss, obv) gave them a rousing pep talk, and they walked out to take the field     ....      whilst peeing themselves as the other team entered the arena doing double, treble    ....    sexagesimal takes at the Chipperfield dugout.

And coach them he did!

Ollie ranted and raved all first half, told them where they were lacking at H/T - and how to put it right, and was leaping about directing the show from the touch line as he guided Chipperfield to victory     ....       as the poor opposing players looked on with WTF expressions all over their stunned faces.

Back in the changing room, Ollie exuberantly toasted success in "his first win in months" - wished the lads all the best - and departed.

Ian Holloway   ....    you are a genuine football legend!

Holloway has a point, albeit not best expressed straight after a game

The rest of the FL clubs are limited to 6 loans, only 5 of which can be in a matchday 18, and only two from the same club

Watford have 11 on loan currently, including 9 from Udinese and had 14 at one point including 10 from Udinese

I would imagine its a loophole that will be closed in subsequent seasons, in that if a change is proposed the majority of clubs not commonly in ownership with a Serie A side will vote against it!

This is not to criticise Watford, Pozzo, Zola etc, merely it makes a bit of a mockery of what the other clubs are subject to
