"You limit the loans allowed for a club and then that clubs youth system is in with more of a chance of bleeding into the first team"
I'm not sure why Holloway thinks we are the ones blocking the development of our own youth players. We had 4 in the team and bench on Friday (Hoban, Doyley, Murray and Bond). How many Palace home grown players were in the 18? Not having a go, just trying to evaluate what Holloway is saying.
Hoban, Murray and Connor Smith all signed 5 year contracts this season for us.

I don't think there should be separate loan rules for players not from the UK and those within the UK.
As isn't that unfair on the British players?
The rule should be a certain amount of loans cap per season per team, and you can get them from wherever you like.
I think this is the main gripe of Holloway.
But to be honest, he shouldn't be moaning, and instead looking to utilise the loophole himself. Can you bring in an international loan at any point of the season?

Holloway is going to go mental when he reads this. Might be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

The argument is the same for immigrant workers from the EU. British players can join other EU clubs on mass as well if they want under rules. The entire Palace team can up sticks and move to Chievo if they wanted to.

No - because they are classed as permanent transfers hence must be in a transfer window. Not sure how Boro are doing their Brazilian thing to be honest.

There are no rules limiting UK people from working in their own country over the rest of the EU working here though is there? Whereas in the case of the Football league there is?
That's the difference surely?
I just say don't give internationals an advantage and level the playing field.

What's this? Ant tips Palace to win their next match sensation!?
There are other teams out there...
I was surprised Holloway didn't already know all the Watford stuff. If I was a Championship manager I'd make it my business to know all the ins and outs.
Poshies would already be fkarked without loans. It is what it is.

Lol Chompy! The last match I had tipped us to win was the 1st January when we won against Wolves, TpT got on it and I was happy. Since then not backed us to win any game outright. And of all the bets I have had on Palace this season (inc, Palace and the draw) only 4 failed to win from 11, all, mostly over 2.0 or therebouts. I did bet much more on the home wins against Derby and Ipswich than any other bet, thus why I am up nicely on Palace.
I lose generally on betting on other teams which is why i have most of my fun with Palace. But if you want to show me the way Chompy, I will listen
We would be fucked without loans too, btw, 7 players injured, and Dobbie, Phillips and Richards are proving vital for our push for promotion.

Absolutely - but it is the Football league that is breaking restraint of trade law, not Udinese.

Where is Jazz Richards from? He looked good apart from the first 10 mins.

Yup, actually I praise the Udinese/Watford partnership for their ingenuity, its the rule itself, sanctioned by the football league, that I am not happy with.

Swansea, yeah mightily impressed with him, clearly a class above the rest of our full backs.

Hate the Palace bet more than usual.
Palace coming off a huge comeback in a massive game are entitled to a let down.
Boro, an excellent team who lost at home to a relegation candidate last week are entitled to show a huge improvement against a playoff rival. Should be super motivated.
Couldn't back Palace with forged money at 11/10.
Think Palace will drift.

TyTy for the viewpoint, appreciated, as always.
Just think we will show way too much for them at home and contrary to recent performances, will come out of the blocks fast and force them to capitulate under the pressure. Think we will win by two.
