Early kickoff for leeds vs Hudds who for them its their biggest game of the season. Inbreds travel t'big city and wont nothing more than to beat Leeds.

Team changes for first time in 6. Bother strikers out so in comes Habibou Tongue

Kenny, Byram, Peltier, Lees, Warnock, Green, Austin, Tonge, Diouf, Habibou, Varney.

Something tells me goals.

Funny how "its their biggest game of the season"  applies to anyone playing Leeds.
Time you had a reality check, Leeds are just an average Championship team and have been for a few years now.

Huddersfields biggest game of the season will be the one that secures championship football next season.

no one in leeds understands it, we are shite. So it makes the likes of barnsly, hudds and co. being up for beating us even more funny. Who were Hudds fans singing about continually in their last playoff finals? i give you a clue it beings with L and ends in S.

Did I say otherwise?

Will be lovely to look at another average home attendance, going on your theory.

Got back from Hillsborough, what an ugly, awful game.

Wednesday were woeful (being saying for along time do not back us at home) and Cardiff were a big physical side who did a job on us comfortably. They dont inspire me though - horrible team.

The referee was a joke, but it was the right result.

God help Cardiff when they go up, they need a new squad.

It's nothing to do with how good or bad you are.  The reason you're disliked by everyone is that you have, in general, the most obnoxious fanbase in the country with an in-built chip on their shoulder about how big a club they are and how they deserve to be in the Premiership.

To be fair, since you've had Master Bates as owner some of that has lessened somewhat, but the fact that he's obnoxious and charges stupid prices for away fans at Elland Road makes up the difference.

Six points from home games vs Brighton and Watford this week is huge for us!

Today we went toe to toe with Watford and edged them in a close encounter.  I think it helped that we were 'freerolling' from Tuesday night in many ways so the pressure was off a little and it showed in the performance.

The difference was that, for the most part, we won the midfield battle and I think Watford were unsettled by having the like of Perkins and Etuhu snapping at their heels and denying them time to play their usual flowing game.

Anya was the biggest Watford threat down the left and he has some pace on him.  I was happy when he went off, albeit not thrilled to see Forestieri replace him, but he proved to be far less of a threat than I feared.  Vydra had a quiet game, whilst Deeley didn't endear himself to the home fans after leaving the boot in on Steele twice during the game.

It was a hard, but well-earned 3 points, but it was still easy to see the underlying quality in the Watford squad.  If they end up going up I don't think anyone could deny that they'd have deserved it.

My dislike of Leeds is more about their players/managers than their fans.

From when I was a kid they tended to employ players who bend the rules to the limits or are just plain dirty.

Without thinking too deeply: Bremner, Hunter, Batty (actually quite liked Batty for some reason!), Chapman, Viduka, Cantona, Jones right on to the current team including Diouf and Brown.

Add to that some thoroughly unpleasant managers Revie, Wilkinson, O'Leary and Warnock and the cherry on a the cake Bates.

I'd be surprised if any other team had such a deep catalogue of unpleasant people associated with them (Chelsea are close, but I'm biased obv)

I must admit, most of my likes/dislikes for teams comes from the experience of going to matches against them, and especially their fans.

It's not down to the hostile atmosphere in the grounds either, as this to me is a sign of the fans 'doing their job' and making it tough for the opposition.  Leicester is a good example.  The away seats at Filbert Street down the side of the pitch used to be a horrible environment for an away fan, especially as you had the double tiered stand behind the goal feeling like it was right on top of you, but they're not a team on my dislike list.

Interesting how we all have our own ways of judging things.  I've never disliked a team due to it's players at a particular point in time, as eventually they all change.  I've never known a fanbase attached to a team change in the same way.

Must admit the Runway Song is pretty distasteful. (As are the Turkish songs aimed at Leeds supporters)
