Going Thursday night

Whole City hugely up for it, and on a massive high

Can't go Sunday, in Ireland, Wouldn't have got a ticket anyway. 2,000 another stingy allocation, this time from Watford.

Would love to take my boys to Wembley to see Leicester. Fingers crossed!

Ahem     ......      our away allocation @ The MonsterMunchBowl: 2,000 out of a 30k capacity.

Your allocation at the Three-sided Presbytery: 2,200 out of a 17k capacity.

Who's being stingy again, Richard?

Slight derail, but this had me in stitches reading it.

A somewhat deluded Sheffield United fan posted pictures of herself on Twitter wearing various t-shirts proclaiming the innocence of convicted rapist Sheff Utd forward Ched Evans.  Then the Sheffield Wednesday forum got hold of it and asked for some input from the photoshoppers.

Judge the efforts for yourself....

It's Geijo time for Watford tonight.  Can feel it.   He's done nothing all year and had no real chances to establish himself but I've had this sneaky suspicision that he was going to be important at some point.

Buying his goal minutes.

Come on you Hornets!

It's pretty obvious from that comment you come from a one club city.

United fans revelled in Wednesday's demise over the last 10-15 years and would take great delight in mocking us about our levels of debt, how poorly we were run and being in League One. They were keen to tell us they were run by a Unitedite who was a business genius (McCabe) and were "light years" ahead of us.

The business genius has taken them down to League One, built up significant levels of debt even after the Tevez compo, parachute payments and writing off £13m of his own loan notes by converting them to worthless equity. They are in a right old mess on and off the pitch.

Ironically, for all the "we are a well run club" nonsense, they are in many ways in a similar state to where Wednesday were 5 years ago - they have a debt which is mainly owed to McCabe, which is boardering on unserviceable and will screw their player budget for years to come.

I think a period of 3-5 years rotting in League One will give them a taste of what we've suffered.

I think that is true up to a point.  I enjoyed the demise of Luton, but when they started getting 30 point penalties and dropping out of the league all together it was a shame to lose the rivalry completely.  It will take them a decade to get back to our level if they even make it at all.

Yuh, same here. Was a shame to lose Cambridge United from the league, even though they were always Posh's poor neighbours.

Would be quite happy to see the Wobblers up to League One so we can spank they'm a couple of times next season.

Think Rick's view is a bit myopic

Far prefer our big rivalries Forest, Derby, Cov etc to be in the same league as us and competitive

+1 to Rick.

But I wouldn't have minded them going up this season, but was of the opinion that if they did go up they would struggle and after looking at their situation and the newcomers to League One, I would be very surprised if they was in the mix at the end of next season.

It will be a decent league for Yorkshire/Midlands next season

Possible max 2 hour drive to these games for most next season.

I didn't want to see Dave Kitson make his first solid touch at the Keepmoat kicking an advertising board in celebration. We always seem to drop points in a fantastic way playing Sheff U.

Enjoy the game Tighty.  May the best team win and all that.  Let's hope it's a good one with no bad crucial refereeing decisions and no huge slices of luck or early red cards deciding it.
