Fair to say that this comp didn't go very well at all. General first impressions of the table was it was ok, only Ramzi Jellasi who I recognised, along with a weak player I had played cash with the night before, but the unknowns all turned out to be decent, and the only spot at the table didn't last too long.

Key hands:

Level 1
i Iso oldish guy after a limp with Jt and we end up going 4 way to flop. AQ9 ddd is checked round.
Turn is offsuit 8, giving us the straight and T high FD. Big blind leads for 1/3 pot and old guy calls, we overcall, and 3 way to river which pairs the 8. Now BB checks and old guy bets really small, about 1/4 pot. Could obviously have flatted here but thought I could squeeze some value from aces that think they're chopping, eights etc so 2.2x it back and he calls with 64dd. Maybe it's a bit thin, if he bets more I flat.

Level 2 Jellasi opens utg and we peel AQdd next seat. 3 way to the flop as utg +2 calls aswell.

Flop A95 with 1diamond checked round. turn chk and we bet 400 call, and RJ check raises to 1300, we both call. River black ten and we check to utg +2 who bets 2450  rj call I fold, 99 over caller wins.

Don't really remember winning any pot of note inbetween these hands and my stack was dwindling.

Level 3. Open JQcc 450 at 1/2 Bb peels
AcKcQh bet 400 call. chk/chk chk/chk K6dd good.

Few hands later Open QQ utg+2. Btn and sb peel. Flop JT2 sb lead 725 call fold. Turn jack chk/chk river 5. He leads tiny,525 call. AJ. Marv, kinda summed up how it was going.

Bricked peeling 44 and stabbing with nfd/ gave up on river to do small pieces until first winning pot of any note.

Open JJ 450 2 callers c bet 600 on 247r call/fold. Turn 3, check call 1250. River 9. Chk/chk good vs 66. Glad he didn't bet the river as I was almost certainly folding when he was tanking. That pot gave me a small lift but was still well below average but under no real pressure BB wise.

Same level i open 99 from btn to 450 BB 3b for 1st time 1300, call. Flop J78r. He check calls 1050. Turn 6 chk/chk he leads 3 river 2.5k. Fold. Maybe coulda barrelled all 3 there as I was pretty confident he was pot controlling a one pair hand, probably overpair, and I had some blockers, but wasn't mega sure it would get through.

L4.(100/200/25)

Win a couple of small pots by 3betting RJ with KK, who folds pre the squeezing A7cc on the button and getting the cbet through after the caller peels pre.

Level 5 Open TT in hj, 500, co 1400, sb peel, we call. Flop 974 chk I lead 1700, call, 6k I fold co calls and the folds to guys 10k turn bomb on 2 turn.

Folded for a level and a half before the final hand at 200/400 thetes an open to 950 and i 3bai for 12k with AKdd and lose to TT.

Overall a thoroughly disappointing tourny, very card and spot dead, and all big hands just seemed to end up in disaster. Thanks for buying pieces, sorry there were no returns.

Cheers.
