I've built a good stack (top 15% - 20%), cruising and this happens against only player at table who covers.  We are in the money but field is massive with about 1600 left.  $18K up top.  I have no reads on oppo as i was moved to table 20 hands prior.  I have been opening at least twice a round though so he may feel i am active and can be 3-bet light.  I basically jam to fold out Ax diamond draws and think i am gonna be called with worse (10-10, J-J and QQ).

thoughts? is it a spew? can i play this better? 50p? trivial?

yeh obv in a 4bet pot we don't like being raised on flops, BUT he's 3bet utg2 vs utg with 88 lol..... ( I didn't see it was 6max somehow. moron). still applies though.

yeah he's flatted a 4 bet from UTG with 88 but hey ho, he can play his $11 how he wishes and he's hit his 2 outer. I didn't like the raise on the flop but what you gonna do?  does anyone flat the raise on the flop and try and get to showdown cheap or are we losing too much value from 10-10, JJ, QQ and AXs?  i wasn't sure if the flop jam was bad and was only going to get called by better. shit spot really

My first though was flat flop to keep his worse hands in that he'll fold, but then I realised that this is the Micromillions. Hands fine, pretty unlucky mate

Dont ever fold KK in any micromillions no matter what the board and you will comfortably show a profit.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Pretty standard by the way when your account is fitted with a doom switch. Think i must have pissed someone off in support when i first created the account in 2004 and might have sent the odd abusive email when running bad.. I am more zen these days. Anyone know how to deactivate a doom switch?

Agree, just pile flop in this spot, flatting there would be a mistake in this tournament.
