Late entry til 7pm and currently 39 runners short of the guarantee on the £500

..., Shola raises UTG and Paul Day calls in the big blind

Day check calls on flop and turn of  and they both check the draw completing river

Neither player wants to show. Eventually the TD asks Day to show, and he does

Rastafish "That's never good man, never"

and Shola flips

Rastafish "I killed it" and goes back to Sky Sports News on his Ipad

Why is this ever necessary?

drives me bonkers.

And even more when there has been an all in and a call pre flop sometimes yesterday it would take 30 seconds to show in one case the guy had aces as well. in this spot someone decalre they have a pair and then if they both declare one pair shola knows she has won. Otherwise if theres a bet and a call on the river the guy who has bet should show? this is my understanding on the rule. Unless he wants to muck and then he should hurry up and muck

Vaidas Sirunias raises on the button

Ray Mackintosh 3 bets the small blind

This is at 100-200

Vaidas 4 bets

Ray, playing a full stack, decides to 5 bet shove A-Q

and runs into A-A

and is out second of the 95 runners today

Frankie, in the big blind is rather ecstatic at this turn of events for he had A-Q in the big blind, he tells the table, and has escapred the melee for nothing more than the cost of that big blind

Dylan Herbert opens in the cut off

Dewi James 3 bets the button

Rytis Praninskas 4 bets the small blind

Ceri Rees flats the four bet

Herbert passes

James shoves for 20,000

Praninskas re-shoves for 55,000

Rees thinks and thinks and eventually passes A-K

James Q-Q

Praninskas K-K

9-Q-A-8-10 more than doubles up James to nearly 50,000
