Notes for the weekend

Cleveland +13.5 at Denver

Minnesota +9 at Houston

Hartlepool 2-1 home to Portsmouth?

Fleetwood 2-1 at Oxford, and BTTS

? Bristol Rovers/John Ward 3-1 home to Rotherham

Write ups to follow if I plunge after research

Kevin Pullein did an in-depth investigation into the "new manager effect" a couple of years ago

Unless there are other factors in play, he found that the whole thing was a myth and teams perform almost at exactly the same level as they did with the old manager, especially in the first couple of games.

Yes I am aware of that. I went a bit early on the theme this season with Bury, Blackwell had no effect in the first few games but after that the turn in results at some reasonable prices (which I was watching, not backing) got me to thinking about looking at each of these as they happen

I know Bristol R are very suspect at the back, the question was whether 3-1 at home against Rotherham gave anything to go at.

£20 Cricketbetlive

MS Dhoni Over 26.5 at 1.9

1 pt per run

10 pts per catch

25 pts per stumping

https://www.cricketbetlive.com/betting.asp?whichone=all&eventid=48843

Reckon its completely the wrong quote

If it were a spreadbetting quote as in my bad old days, I'd be on the overs per point

Shudder

thanks to Mr Picken for the pointer to look at it

Meanwhile I have dismissed Bristol R and Hartlepool

Like the look of Fleetwood at Oxford but apparently the pitch at the Kassam is torn up by London Welsh, and is a leveller, bobbling around the ankles etc.

Oxford do concede from a lot of set-pieces, and Fleetwood are the better team, but don't like it being played on a ploughed field

So perhaps not that either

Doesn't look a great lower league weekend to me, I must say. Taking another look later

They are quite a big company, solid & reputable apparently, & I'm assured by good judges (especially including redarmi, also by the Gent who first recommended them to us) they are perfectly sound.

If you want to withdraw cash though, you'll need to send ID etc.

Their markets for this afternoon are here.....

As tikay said, it looks like a nice find

I'm only small ball, in £10 and £20 stakes and seems fine

Not withdrawn yet though :-)

i have never used cricket bet live

but no plenty of massive cricket players who do everyday and they dont limit bets apparently

would not have a worry using them

Spread betting quote would have to be higher because of the nature of the bet and mean vs median. I'm really torn, I like the CBL are better than 365 line but the Dhoni price just stinks

Not running so good

Dhoni drops a catch for 10 points

then scores 24 not out coming in at 7

;-)  a bit off form, same as on tikay's thread in December, coinciding with the start of this one!

Blonde would be wealthier if Fraser had gone for Tips by TL900! Its just variance, really ul today, despite my thoughts on CBL i would have got on if I hadn't been dog walking for the toss! Some dodge. Hope you can find something for the weekend!
