So maybe some unholy offspring from a brief encounter between a voodoo doll and a Britannia doll?  Cheesy

Quite a few tins and boxes in the collection, including a 'nosegay' tin (tobacco apparently)??

Looks like it's not worth a fortune, although the collection might make a few quid.

More pics?

There's loads of stuff, and will get some photos (might be advisable for Lyndsey to take them Cheesy) of the interesting stuff.  A lot of it isn't for resale, they're just vintage items that Lyndsey uses in photo shoots - but because there's so much stuff, I think we'll try and sell some and get some of the cost back at least.

I'll see if there's a photo of the potions and pills from yesteryear - they're fascinating...

There's loads more too.  I'll take a photo of a small bottle of 'poison' that's in the collection.  Looks like something out of a Sherlock Holmes story.

Is Lyndsey interested in antiques in general?

How did she hear of this lot in the first place?

Only for props for he photo shoots, as well as a general interest in cool vintage stuff for the house.

One of her clients lives near the museum (in Newark, I think) and she told Lyndsey about it.  It's the first time we'd done anything like this, but was great fun and will be doing it again.  Lyndsey's mum lives in France and buys all sorts of stuff over there, such as copper pans for a tenner that she then sells online to people in the UK and America for hundreds of pounds. With a lot of the stuff it depends where you sell it.  Put it on ebay, and you tend to get little for it, but put it on Etsy or other similar sites and people seem willing to pay a premium for it.

I'm told the copper pots are likely old pub measures from the days when customers brought in their own drinking vessels and the pub would measure their drink and then pour it into their tankard. I've also been told to put the guy who identified them in touch with you if you do want to sell them. Pub antiques could fetch a  decent sum - there's always a boozer looking for the antique pub stuff - usually to make a freshly renovated boozer look old.
