Blonde will obviously be there.

I just don't agree with non active members wanting to represent blonde when they don't contribute all year long.

Looking at that list, there is only one person I can see who could cause an issue and that is my wife.

Whilst she may not have been logged in - she has been reading the forum (on my lappy, hers is bust and has been for some time) and she contributes in other ways (see: updates).

People can contribute in other ways than posting on the forum.

Wasn't just Joobs, there are others that have contributed little or nothing to blonde this year.

In what ways can people contribute to the forum, other than posting?

They can read the forum, they can click the sponsor links, they can be playing on DTD through the links on the forum to generate rake, they can be helping people under the radar (by PM etc), they could even do updates! Many ways they can contribute to Blonde (not the forum, Blonde as a whole) without posting millions of posts on here.

norr please don't change to sensible selection criteria this year or my whole "not posting all year just to be in with a chance of making the blonde apat team" will have been for nothing Sad

Don't u get paid to do the updates?

Nirvana for captain. Much better choice. Plus if he wins I will personally return his 24 boxset as a prize.

Also, lets be honest, some on the list want to "represent" blonde because its not an open event and it's there only chance in. They'd probs represent a forum they've never read if they had the chance.

I represented APAT one year and only put myself forward for that forum cos of my activity on there. This time I want to rep blonde.

Plus putting a team together through a series of mtts is not the best way to build any sort of team spirit IMO.

Fwiw I would pick the camel cos I know he loves team poker and poker awards.

I would like to captain the team. Sorry my post to nirvana was tongue in cheek. He'd be asking for a chop from the outset (and he's not getting his 24 box set back)

U can still make it if your fave type of kebab is suitable (assuming I make captain ofc)

I post more on APAT than here, although I've contributed posted more on blonde this year than any other year, I wouldn't consider myself as a regualr blonde against most in here. so I would understand to a degree if I was exempt.

That said, surely getting Newbies / new posters to represent blonde is a method of keeping the forum fresh, live and ensuring a good turnover of new people.

I have represented APAT Team Luton in the previous team event as captain for the record.

I couldn't disagree more waz. Personally I think you should earn your stripes before repping the forum. Otherwise it may as well be the 8 randoms play team poker championships

Adam said you had to have registered before June. Newbies are not welcome.

Certainly understand you point George, and being totally honest, I do feel more "affliated" with APAT than Blonde - as my original "request" stated that I was being cheeky.  But I'm trying to join in to all things blonde to improve that.

So I'm happy to drop out (not that my name is on the list at present anyway!) that said, how does one earn stripes to become within a chance to rep the forum for the future?

I do get paid to do the updates. I believe everybody does. It's not good money for what it is, after expenses works out at less than minimum wage hourly. When Joobs and I do it together, it is a set amount, so we don't get double money.

I don't do it for the money, that is a bonus. I do it to help Blonde and by extension, Tighty out.

I'd also like to state that I am not applying for any other teams (I am aware that people do this because it is not an open event). I post on Blonde and APAT. I want to play for Blonde. I've never applied in the past because I've never felt I can qualify via the MTT's.

I've been a member of blonde since Aug 2007?
