Not sure if this has already been posted but its worth watching. http://www.pokercast.tv/1906-all-in-the-poker-movie#

Its actually a  documentary telling the story of poker from the early days and also the birth of internet poker , right up until  Black Friday.

So it doesn't have Burt Reynolds, the guy from Reaper, the guy from Spin City or Woody Harrelson in it?

(If you've not seen either of those movies, kudos to you!)

I have been looking for this movie for sometime now. It is not  available on iTunes in the UK so I hoped this link was the answer. Unfortunately the link only goes to the pokercasttv home page and a search of the site doesn't return this film. Can anyone else find the film via this link?

Strange the link still works for me, maybe you have to sign up ??

On the home page, look in the ' latest comments' box to the right and the link is there also , hope that works for you.

Also if you type ' All in poker movie ' into the search feature the link appears. No.15

Looking forward to watching this.

tx for the link but wasn't overly impressed, annie duke does tend to have that effect on me tho...& they credited some old american guy with kick starting tv poker/hole card cams, i thought it was an english guy responsible for late night poker who has since passed on?

would be great to see a european take on this

You may be referring to Rob Gardner who did indeed pass away a few years back.
There are conflicting views. I think LNP introduced it to TV, but that it was actually an American creation/idea.

Yes It mentions Henry Orensteins idea/concept of Total Poker using hole cams came about in 1995 which was before Late Night Poker 1999. Until I saw this documentary I always thought LNP was the first too. I  believe LNP was the first series of poker shows on TV though, it was definitely a couple of years ahead of the World Poker Tour.
